have read the prequeal and first book finding it hard to put down the second book,they are so good. Thank you for a really well written series

I finished reading the whole series earlier this week. I read them in order -- one after the other. I am a dog lover (Malinois, in particular), so to read about Ruger's exploits was certainly enjoyable. Another thought -- I do not recall reading a book, or a series, where the main character had so many flaws and carried so much personal baggage. Yet, Kate muddled her way through all the clutter to come out on top! Enjoyed my time with Kato, Ruger, Arash, and the others. Thank you!

Excellent action & storyline! Very entertaining & holds your attention. Well written & start of great series. I highly recommend if you enjoy a military edged mystery series.

I enjoyed this initial offering of the Sisters trilogy a great deal. Ms. Irving has a good formula and weaves a good tale!

Excellent story and plot development. Enjoyed the twists and turns. Looking forward to reading the next one.

The first two books of this series that I've read are really good. Great character development, plot twists and very well written. Can't wait to keep reading!

Fantastic read! Candace Irvings’ depth of military and law enforcement knowledge and research, is on par with Tom Clancy. Her books are fast paced and 100% engaging!! I whole heartedly encourage anyone who enjoys a good, “Who done it”, to pick up her books!!

Thrilling, intricate, exciting, compelling characters...what more could you want in a series of novels ? (with more to come!)

This is a masterfully done police procedural, with some spy thriller mixed in. You are privy to every thought and insight by the investigator protagonist, who is very good at her job. The story is never predictable, with the plot having many unexpected twists. There is a great deal of detail, which can occasionally get tedious, but enhances the verisimilitude. The reader feels like they are watching a movie unfold. And some of the detail can be fascinating, particularly when it involves a military setting unfamiliar to most of us.

I loved this whole series. Really makes ya think about what vets have gone and still are going through. Good twists and turns in cases Kate’s assigned to. I loved the relationship between Kate and her K-9 companion, Ruger. Nice love story with Arash too. ;)

I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting to read about a woman who endured so much during her military career yet chose not to allow the past horrors to prevent her from being the person she was created to be. The author shared how a woman with PTSD would choose to work handling some of the most traumatic murders. It was written in a way that caused me to feel like a part of the story, waiting to see what would happen next. I look forward to the next book.

This is a very good cup for coffee, tea or even hot cocoa. Having my favorite K9 Officer along with me while I am reading is a great plus.
