I read this installment in 2 days. I adore Kate and Ruger annd they are my favorite stories. I highly recommend this author. She won’t let you down.

The protagonist is struggling working through PTSD issues while solving crimes in a small Arkansas town. She is ex-military & a real bada$$ heroine. Many subplots: prejudice, discrimination, misogyny etc. I love that her dog is part of the heroic action. I have 4 dogs of my own (not German Shepherds) but talented in their own right. I love stories where the dog doesn’t die! If you love action-packed crime mysteries, do yourself a favor & get this series.

I love the new book. I love the series and I can’t wait for the next one.

I couldn't put it down! A riveting story and full of surprises and twists and turns. This is the second of your books I've read. I read the 4th one first but that didn't cause any confusion or unwelcome surprises. I look forward to reading numbers 2 and 3 next and already have them downloaded. Keep up the great work!

The stories give insight into the life of a returning soldier. How ptsd can enter into the life of friends and family. It give understanding of the disorder and how it is affecting the lives of the victims and those around them. Very well written and the stories are riveting.

I tore through all the books as soon as I read the first one, rapidly becoming hooked on the stories and characters. Can’t wait for her next one(s)!

I have absolutely loved all the books I have read. I started with the Reagan books and am now on the Kate and Ruger books. I just wish I could purchase the books online with Barnes and Noble. I am having to go back and forth from my nook purchases to the book funnel books. Keep making up the wonderful stories. LOVE THEM!!!
